not surprised. for those who missed the listing, it showed a sheep harnessed inside a metal cage on wheels, presumably to guide it in a straight line for those stripes on your lawn.

as a ride on mower the inference is obvious

Mind you, some of the daft inventions down the years raise a smile or two, the ones in Dad's Army are not so far fetched. One idea ( not from DA) was to train dogs to associate tanks with food. The dogs would have explosives strapped to their backs.and blow up the tank, sadly for the dog this would also be a case of one performance only. see The book of Heroic Failures and the Bill Tidy cartoon of a dog cocking its leg against the tank - well its a step in the right direction
