Thinking of selling how much's it worth?

Hi all i am thinking of selling my Nikon 18-105mm lens.

Thing is i am never using it and think it's been on my camera 3 times since new. I was wondering what it might be worth in a sale as i have no idea and as you guys seem to be clued up on this just thought i would ask.

I'd say £160 would be a fair price.

at first was tempted but take it this is the kit lens as i looking for a decent lens in the 20-50 range for walking around pits.

Yeah it is the kit lens.

The reason i am selling is my wife bought me a Sigma 18-200 and i am using that a lot more so it seems silly to keep the Nikon when i can put the money to something else.

To be honest i am looking to buy a Sigma 105mm Macro and was planing on using the money towards it is it commen to offer a swap or is the Sigma worth more in value?

The Sigma is worth more - I'd recommend a straight sale and then hunt out a decent 2nd hand copy of the Sigma....or get a Tamron 90mm.
