3D is a gimmick that comes and goes from time to time. Has done for well over 100 years. It never catches on because of the inevitable problems associated with it, plus the fact that 3D images always look very unreal!
3D photos are a pain to take and/or the cameras are very limited, plus you always need some kind of special viewing device. That Fuji has its own viewer, or you can get horribly expensive prints with an unpleasant lenticular screen on top.
As you can guess, I'm not very keen.
