Thinking of buying a Olympus OM-D EM-5?

Hi has anyone purchased one of the above if so what is your general thoughts on it? I have been looking at its reviews and it does a fine piece of kit, currently working in Hong Kong so i am going to have a look at the prices over here and may buy one.
 
With body only price just over £500 at HDEW it represents fantastic value for money. Especially when compared to EM1 which as its new is over priced IMHO
 
Brilliant deal on Amazon with a "free" 45mm and £50 credit - makes the black body cost about £400, assuming you want the lens and can spend £50 on Amazon!

Yup, HDEW prices (body only £515 or with 12-50 for £619) and the Amazon deal (£50 credit plus claim a free 45mm 1.8 from Olympus) are both very good deals. I'm sorely tempted but just picked up mint used GX1, so might wait and see what happens to used prices between here and the New Year... once more E-M1s become available and if Olympus announce details of the new 'affordable' OMD then I'd hope there might be a few bargains around, at the moment used prices aren't far off buying a new import.

Either that or get my Finnish friend to pick me one up when she goes home for Christmas, they're €550 (£460) over there at the moment.

I had one of these with the 45, 75 and 12mm. Superb camera, but just a tad small and fiddly for my meaty hands. Lovely images though.
