The following link would be a good place to start your research for lens quality.

Here is the Linky

very interesting reading that, very interesting indeed!

Cheers - I lost that link about a year ago and couldn't find it (new computer you see)

Thanx

[QUOTE Also, Kerso has been mentioned on this thread - I've bought 2 lenese off him in the last 2 months and found him significantly cheaper than anywhere else.[/QUOTE]

I found him very quick and pleasant Oh and the lenses were cheap as well :)

Just spotted the link in the OP - VERY nice link, bookmarked that one

Anyone who has e-mailed for a quote and doesn't receive reply, please send a PM as a few messages are bouncing back for some reason all of a sudden? Have managed to keep up to date with e-mails this week so don't think I don't want your business!

hi Kerso

I'm new here so hope Im doing this right. Do you sell Nikon lenses by any chance? or is that anathema to a Canon man?!

I'm thinking of the 70-300 VR Nikon lens to go with my Nikon D50.

A friend has bought me a day learning how to use my camera's manual options, so hopefully after going on that next month, I'll be clearer about which lens is the best for me, but thus far, the lens I mention above has caught my eye...

Helen

thanks for that Joe T. I shall do. I am new here and just getting to grips with how this site works. You guys have some fab pictures on here!

*adds to favourites* Cheers for the link! I will be looking for a new lens nearer the Christmas period but with so much choice, I don't know what I'm looking for. I am a true beginner at slr cameras.

I have just bought a Cannon SLR D 400 with a very basic lenz what would be a goog lenz for sports and Landscape
