Thinking of a MacBook Air-what would you recommend?

If you're going to use it for anything serious I would look at a pro. I have a 2011 Air 13" and although I love it and use it hours a day it tends to be just used for basic stuff - internet etc - if I needed it as a tool to actually do photos on I would get a Pro, the recent ones are quite slimline.

As it is I have an iMac upstairs for my proper photo editing and use an iPad mini for travel as that is good enough for viewing and basic edits.

Currently a 2012/2013 MacBook Pro retina 13 inch is what I'm leaning towards as it has the screen, RAM and SSD spec I'm looking for, the only problem is finding a good one at a reasonable price.
