Yes
neither appeal to me.

I want to understand what I'm doing, and the blurb for those makes it sound as if it tells you what to do but not why you're doing it.

But I think that different people learn in different ways. It might be good for you, I wouldn't touch it.

Why isnt there a sticky of book reviews then?

I must admit I do find myself struggling a little bit with the terminology, I'd like to learn how to do things then learn the technology-that's how I learnt to take my Mini to bits!

I've got edition 2 of this book. I find it very useful as it gives loads of tips etc. Drop into a waterstones or similar and have a look.

I like the way Scott Kelby writes, in fact I have his PS book here on the desk, I also have the Martin Evening book on CS3 - Scott writes to the LAyman, in my opinion you have to have a good idea of whats going on to follow the Martin Evening book.

So, if the book you link to written like the book I have then go for it, it will be a cracker - ohhhh, Understanding Exposure is a must !
