Things you wouldn't expect to see

Oh dear is my ex making BSM spend his hard earned on a car

Trust me moosy boy it's worth it :naughty:

ive already got two cars and access to another 4 - one of which is a mustang  fussy int she

Ahem...Still here.

'Stang? :D

yep my mate Nick has a '69 , Shelby Mustang Gt350 , which he (very) occasionally lets me take for a spin - it doesnt half shift as well - you can keep your Italian fibreglass, i'll have a propper car anytime.

mind you its a hard top - so you could find it quite 'restricting'

MPG - in reality - lucky to get to double figures....
Thought a lambo driver would at least been at Waitrose... f***ing cheapskate!!!

going back a few years now... am guessing about 2005 .. after kicking bum at Sprowston golf club , in an "away" match, a Ferrari F50 parked randomly in Norwich.. in the rough end of town.. (Prince of Wales road)

I suspect that at GBP 242,000 (before options), excludes him / her from being a cheapskate

not necessarily - i used to know a guy who had a Gulardo (sp ? ) , but he propbably had less disposable cash than me - everything was on credit, the house, the car, the suits, the rolex etc

he lived in perpetual state of fear of baliffs, and incurring debt of one sort to pay off another.

I could easily imagine him shopping at morrisons , or al;di/lidl if he thought no one was watching

Fair point.

So true of a lot of executive car "owners", they may be the drivers and sometimes registered keepers but rather fewer actually own the things - they tend to be either the bank's or company cars.

There's a 3 year old XF parked at Lidl's almost every time I go. If it's not there it's because I'm using my wife's car! (Both ours, not the bank's or company cars.)

I was on the M6 a couple of weeks ago

Alongside me in the outside lane was a Ferrari , it sounded fantastic

There was heavy traffic so it was there for a while , then it started to slow so he changed down and blipped the throttle

Unfortunately as he took his foot off the brake to blip the throttle the car in front slammed on

I actually saw him say **** me as he managed to hit the brake and stop 6 inches from the car in front

Could have been very expensive entertainment listening to that exhaust
