I remember those go-carts ... there was a tarmac'd gulley at the back of our house with a big hill at one end, we used to race down like bats out of hell ... well until we threw a wheel!
I also remember there used to be a hell of a lot more fly-tipping in those days, at least there was along the (cut) canal that my house backed onto.
