Thin blue lines appear on images. Any ideas as to what this could be?

Yes
I just came across an older digicam in my closet and decided to bring some life to it. Upon taking some images I noticed that there are thin blue vertical lines that appear on the right side of the image, which are more bended when zoomed out. Interesting thing is that it only happens when i shoot with higher iso settings (i say higher, but it's more like anything from 200 and higher), meaning i only get this issue when shooting in low light conditions. Now i can walk around this issue by simply sticking with iso 50, 80, 100... but that still explains nothing. Camera in question is a Canon PowerShot SD980 IS. Below is an example image of this issue.

It used to be a police camera. Just joking. :D At a guess probably a fault with the sensor with the high iso amplifying the fault.

I think it’s a fault with the sensor; way back when, my Nikon D50 had this problem; I kept it though and just cloned out when it was a big deal. Not ideal but…
