These look cheap for an 8GB decent brand CF card.

I would go for them.We ordered 2 4GB cards couple of months back and they work spot on well worth the money

I have ordered the 4GB cards without any problems.

I use a 16GB in my 40D no probs.

Have been using a kingston 4gb card for the last 4 years with no proplems, have just ordered the 8 gb, at that price you have to.

have just ordered the 8 gb, at that price you have to

Ive done the same and ordered 2, you can`t go wrong at that price from a reputable seller and its far better than some of the chancy CF cards you see on ebay.

what are they like speed wise, they say 133x but how do they practically compare to extreme III's and ultra II's

Can't comment on the speed as it's never been an issue for me, how ever having used Kingston cf for several years now without any problems they do seem to be reliable.

I bought 2 of these a few weeks back for £15 each - can't fault them.

Just ordered one as a spare, 'tis a good price

they don't work properly in my 1d MkIII (corrupted files), neither does the 16GB version. Fine in the MkII.

Anyone have an 8gb in a 400d?

They seem about the same sort of speed to the Extreme III's.
they shouldn't be - the Extreme IIIs should be capable of ~twice as fast as long as the device can make use of the extra speed..
