These look cheap for an 8GB decent brand CF card.

Ive used many Kingston products before and they are superb, its the only memory i will use in my laptop.

These look a good buy at the price for an 8GB CF card considering they are a decent speed and a very good brand. I think i may order a couple, whats your opinions ?

Ive done the same and ordered 2, you can`t go wrong at that price from a reputable seller and its far better than some of the chancy CF cards you see on ebay.

Can't comment on the speed as it's never been an issue for me, how ever having used Kingston cf for several years now without any problems they do seem to be reliable.

they don't work properly in my 1d MkIII (corrupted files), neither does the 16GB version. Fine in the MkII.

They seem about the same sort of speed to the Extreme III's.

they shouldn't be - the Extreme IIIs should be capable of ~twice as fast as long as the device can make use of the extra speed..
