There are no jobs :(:(

Matt always declare mods, i know police started doing road side checks for mods being covered a while back, its not worth the risk being a new driver to, have a bump and as with any insurance they will look at ways of not paying out. very risky business. from memory when i had my old car with mods declared i paid an extra 400 but it wasn't worth the risk of not declaring them tbh

look for something cheap and reliable with a long MOT for a first car to build up no claims if you can

You're left wondering 'if that's him on a road, what's he going to do when he's actually on the track!'

Well if they are anything like the bike 'heroes' on the road will they will be **** slow on the track !

Matt, declare the Mods or do as I did and get a car that is sensible for your first one to build up some no claims ( Citroen Dyane :) )

Neither was it the advice I was giving
Not sure why you thought I was.

I'm going to say this again because I'm not sure I got my point across.

Some insurance companies don't care much about the body mods EVEN WHEN YOU DECLARE THEM. ie. when they ask 'Is the vehicle modified in anyway. you say 'Yes' and tell them what you have changed. If you shop around there are companies who will insure the car and not the modification

Not declaring modifications is foolish and I don't condone that at all.

Sorry I got my wires crossed :bonk:
