It is a bit nerve racking until you actually start it, but if a ditzy mare who goes brain-dead under pressure can pass (who? me?) :p
Im sure youll whizz it.

Good luck fella

good luck mate

good luck mate, I can just imagine the answers right now

Q - What do you do when there is bad light
Matt - Turn up the ISO

Q - What is the max speed limit in a built up area
Matt - Around 1/60s for cars doing 30 mph

Q - What is the first thing you check when you get in a car
Matt - I have my camera

well its now 14:20 and still no results...

:( Aw Matt
Better luck next time

All the best drivers fail first time round on their theory ;)

I found out the reason I failed first time was because I was clicking too early

too bad man, i didnt pass first time... no big deal really

Matt - never mind. I failed the 'big one' today :(

I only had 2 minors and a kid walked out infront of me and I should have anticipated it and stopped.

Regards, James

Unlucky Matt. Next time you'll be fine.

I wouldn't worry about it,Matt....my first test was canceled, because the girl before me, when told to turn left at a junction did so and then preceded to drive straight into a line of parked cars, putting the examiner in intensive care

I take it she failed then?

Matt,

do you know why you failed?

When I did my test the theory was just a couple of questions at the end, 'what does this sign mean?' and such like.

Matt.......did nobody tell you that we don't have marshals waving pretty flags along the road but have signs instead ?

:D

Learn from it and you'll breeze it......you never stop learning on the road

i got my Big one a week tomorrow Dreading it :(

Sorry to hear you failed Matt. I'm sure you'll do it next time.

You should try the bus driving theory test!!!

I'd hazard (haha) a guess that the child in question was loitering near the edge of the pavement as James approached and subsequently made a dash for it as he got closer, probably causing the examiner to apply the brake or James himself to brake rather too sharply.

That sort of thing is a hot-topic, especially given the Hazard Perception aspect of the Theory Test.

Mike - I was going down a road and this kid was walking along to path to my right. I saw him and I saw his mum on the other side of the small junction - I thought that his mum would tell him to stop so not to walk out infront of a car. So as we both met on the corner of the junction, I turned in but he continued walking. I was only doing about 10mph as its quite a tight area round there, I had to brake sharply (not the examiner) and because of it I failed.

Its a pain but it just means I know for the future.

Itully91 - Dont worry, if your like me you'll be crapping yourself all the way till the examiner gets in the car. But dont worry about it - 2 outcomes can happen, you pass or you fail. If you pass - wahey thats great, if you fail then you just go back on the DSA site, rebook yourself in and keep going till you get it. Im sure you'll do fine anyway though :p

Regards, James
