I don't normally make threads about films but I watched an advanced screening of it yesterday evening with the Mrs, all I can say is holy s***e this film was hilarious!!! Blurb from IMDB: Based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, from his rise to a wealthy stockbroker living the high life to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government. Rating 8.7.

I would highly recommend the film if you're into true stories etc, but this one is just a long comedy from start to finish, totally true on the groundings but Leonardo DiCaprio really knew how to pull this one off! Word of warning though, it's a long film :D
 
Yeah i loved it. Although i will take some of the events which were no doubt in his bio also with a pinch of salt. Shot very much like goodfellas which is never a bad thing. Best thing he has done for 10 yrs since Aviator.

I'm probably going to go and see it shortly, theres quite an interesting article in 'American Cinematographer Magazine' about the decisions, methods etc that were used for the cinematography such as how it was originally planned to be shot 100% digitally, but eventually ended up being mostly shot on 35mm film with only low light and green screen effects being shot digitally:
