Hi, i hope this in the right section...

Anyway, i have the choice of going to the The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust in Washington today. Is it worth it, ive got 300mm reach ? Can i get any decent shots if i go, and does anybody have any shots that they have got from there ?

Thanks for viewing

Dave

Dave,

300mm should be fine, you may fin d it's not quite long enough for the hides (I could be wrong) - but it should be for everywhere else!!

Enjoy the day and share some of the pics on here!

I'm sure you'll get some good shots with 300mm Dave

My company does the printing for all the paper based products (postcards, notebooks, pads etc) in the gift shop for WWT :D

I went recently, with 300mm also, I found that in the hides for the lakes it was a bit short as the birds were on the other side :bang:. However it will be fine for other areas, especially the hide for the smaller birds in the wood area nearest Penshaw monument.
