today one of my photos of The Who is published in the Daily Star today

i am really really pleased

and very tired after trudging through all the thick mud for 2 days

i'll put the trumpet away now

i had to send the pics in before i went to bed sunday morning

so - does this mean that i'm now a pap? i really hope not

your sister is very nice - like you - and it was very nice to speak to you both

and i hope you enjoy your nice meal - you both deserve it

there are some good threads on protecting your camera on the forum, and a good handy-home-hint of using a chamois leather placed over the lens

i've had stuff in The Independent before today - and they didnt pay

Glad you're being paid. It's your work - the paper shouldn't reap the benefits of your photos for free. If someone uses your photo(s) without permission, invoice them.

it's the difficult part sometimes - being paid

i had to wait almost a year for payment from someone i worked for - when i asked he lied and insisted that he had paid - it all worked out in the end

but the good thing about this forum - there's so much helpful information, and many friends here to support and help - on what to do, what to say etc
