No
Well, i've been trying to reorganise my camera bag. I've got a good range of kit now, and I think its a pretty good bass to work from. I tend to visit outdoor locations like national trust parks and the like, photographing landscape from wide and also a detail perspective, sometime macro stuff too. I'm finding it hard to decide what to leave behind. I know I absolutely dont want to take everything. A really heavy camera bag will just annoy me and ruin my time while out shooting.
My gear pretty much consists of,

Nikon D7000 with battery grip, strap and spare batteries
Sigma 10-20 f3.5
Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4
Sigma 105mm Macro f2.8
Sigma 70-200 f2.8
Nikon 50mm f1.8
Nikon 35mm f1.8
remote Shutter release
Tripod and ball head
Couple of flashes, but i'm assuming not to take these unless I need them specifically

What would you take?

At the moment im thinking,

Nikon D7000 with battery grip, strap and spare batteries
Sigma 10-20 f3.5
Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4
Sigma 105mm Macro f2.8
remote Shutter release
Tripod and ball head

What do you guys take out on a walk with you?

As little as possible, Canon 5D/24-105mm, small cf tripod and ballhead, spare battery and that's about it if I'm wandering about.

A lot of time depend on the battle, but as above as little as possible as my kit goes everywhere with me.

Day to day one camera & a zoom 2 spare batt & some spare cards

A trip 2 bodies & 3 lens

Using Fuji cameras & lens

:)

My day bag consists of a Canon 5D3 with a 35mm prime and 85mm prime.

The rest of my lenses are individually fairly heavy so I take those out when I know I will need them.

As a hobbyst
Depends on where I am going and what (and if I have a "client") I am shooting.
If I have a "client" I will always have back up gear.

Some examples:
#1 A 6 week vacation with 5 flights.
Full frame body + crop body, 24-105 + 70-300 and (backup) 35mm f2.

#2 A walk etc, with non photographers, where I am not sure what I will be shooting, and have to travel light.
Crop body + 18-250 lens.

#3 Shooting classical music events ("client")
Two bodies + 35 F2, 85 F1.8 and 135 F2 and (for backup) a 24 F2.8 amd 50mm F1.8.

#4 Motor racing
Crop body and 100-400 lens (and if I have a client a second body with a 70-300 lens)

#5 local walks by myself or with my wfe etc
It will be just one body and one lens.
Some times it maybe a 35mm F2 on a full frame body.
Sometimes it will be just a 100-400 on crop body if there ius a chance of seeing any urban wildlife about.

For a walk, I'll take a crop body and (later this week, with luck!) 10-24, 18-55 and 55-200 zooms, possibly with another body in the bag. That's if I'm going for a photographic walk rather than a constitutional! If I'm just going for a gentle stroll, I'll probably just slip the XF-1 in a pocket in case I see a nice shot.

5D, lens of the day, strap.

No bag, no spares- life on the edge.
One day I'll take the tele, next time the macro or what not. Makes me look for different shots, and gives my gammy leg an easier time.

Depends on my mood and where I'm going.

Maybe FF body, 70-300 and a 35 or 50mm prime.
Maybe FF body and standard zoom
Maybe FF and just 50mm

My cover everything kit is the body, 16-35, 50, 70-300.

Mostly 6D, 24-105 f4, and 85 1.4 or 100 macro, sometimes 70-300IS, but i do not like this lens, really I need to replace it with something longer and sharper for wildlife. Sometimes light tripod and a few filters.

I keep a chamois leather in my bag it's great for keeping your camera dry if it's on the tripod in light rain. Also have a small ball of string, really useful for tying back a bit of annoying foliage that can ruin a shot and of course that obligatory photographers tool the Swiss Army knife. If your going to be out for a long time in the sun don't forget to pack the sun cream and take plenty of water. Scratch that, just seen the bank holiday forecast, rain looms....

I tend to change what I take to keep me on my toes.

If I'm being lazy or can only get away with one lens as with the family the 70-200 is my current favourite.
Some days I take only primes, some times a multi use and a macro.

I think it keeps me keen to give myself different challenges.

Try a day with a 50mm prime only and see how it changes the way you shoot. Then repeat with a 300mm etc.

If it's just a jaunt I'll just take one body one lens. Maybe if I don't mind taking the messenger bag I'll throw another lens in there. I recently attended the wedding of my best friend and just took my D700 and 50mm lens, it's amazing how versatile that focal length is, and I can't say I missed any shots that I wanted :)

That said when I travel away from home I take everything bar the kitchen sink  wish I didn't but I do :D but I'm young and don't mind carrying the extra weight, it's almost worth it for the relief of taking the bag off your back at the end of the day!

From what you've said I would take the 10-20 and the 105. Nice and wide for landscapes and a nice macro for close up stuff. If needs be perhaps take the 35 or the 50 to fill in the gaps, personally I prefer the 35mm on DX especially as it's a good little lens. They won't add any weight but will give you something in between :)
