This photo is NOT here for critique I have posted it as I thought it was funny. The couple were very funny throughout the whole wedding and when the wedding ring would not fit this is the result

They were both hilarious it was like some wedding comedy sketch rather than a real wedding... but that's the way they are

shots like this show more character than posed or forced shots.
Stuff like this often ends up in a wedding album I think.
I put one of my wife doing some colouring with her nephew as I thought it was adorable that she did this on our day.
and then there are some nice little daft shots i've taken at weddings (yes I had to take some snaps even at my wedding) which are full of character.
Looks like a great day, hope the rest of your shots were just as colourful!

I love shooting weddings where the b&g are not afraid to have some fun, it makes my day much more interesting and they end up with much more personal photographs.

Thank you...yes they were both very funny. At one point we came upon a stone statue and the bride give it a snog.......the whole day was great fun

Can't beat moments like that. Always makes for a good photo when the bride and groom get nervous and the rings are a struggle to get on, almost always ends in a giggling shot.

Yeah very true which makes it all the more annoying when the vicar won't let you take any during the service. Yeah you can set it up after but the magic is gone then

Agreed. Only had one like this and just found it utterly bizarre. We are hardly intrusive or noisy. Oh well

To be honest I think some like the power play especially when a registrar does it....... But you have to respect their wishes of course and 99% of them are fine
