The Walking Dead...[CONTAINS TV SHOW SPOILERS]

I have a feeling they've recruited rick and the gang to help protect it from something

I hope so.
The whole "Hmmmmmm this looks like a good place and these seem like nice people . . . then, oops! No. We judged that badly!" is going to start getting a bit stale soon.
Fingers crossed that there's going to be a different variation on the theme this time around.

That sounds too much like what happen in Lost.

I guess there isn't too much they an do apart from try and find somewhere safe, but we seem to have been here a few times before

Cheers and still enjoying it, though.

where did Michonne's assertiveness come from all of a sudden? Rick backed down a few times too easily IMHO

My take on it.........

Firstly : I think (as the leader of a struggling group) Rick felt undermined by Aaron's story about a group doing so much better than his group.

Secondly : Michonne has always been assertive but (having listened to Aaron) most of the group sided with his offer of hope.

Why ?

They had nothing to loose.

The closing scene, the sound of children playing behind the gates as Rick lifts Judith from the car reveals that unlike the rest of the group, Rick was thinking about his kids.

I guess time will tell whether Rick or the group were right.

So, weve got 4 episode left of the series, and today ive seen an interview with Norman Reedus (Daryl), about what can be expected from the season finale on the 29th March (ok 30th in the UK). Apparently, we need to get the kleenex ready, and apparently we will be "screaming at the tv"...Mmmm curious. So, who do we think will pop their cloggs? My money is on Carol.

If they continue to follow the comic then one of the original group is killed by a character yet to appear in the show. Whether it's during this season though I'm not sure.

Better not be Daryl although he's not actually in the books as far as I know?

My money is on Carol.

I really hope it is not her because she has turned from an abused wife to a woman who will do what it takes to survive and she can make decisions without regrets.
I like how her and Daryll have changed as people from their previous life, Daryll being a bad boy who has turned good and caring.
I think some of the other characters are less developed and more worthy of killing off.

Which is why I think it could possibly be Carol...a more established character...more shocking/sad etc.

Id be suprised if it was Daryl also, but then I never thought id see an episode quite like 'The Grove'...so I could be wrong...again :)

It was a very slow episode. It's clearly setting up for something interesting but made for pretty painful viewing.

The new guy was very clean so hopefully wherever he's from will have a shower to give Daryl a wash ;)

I don't think that it was slow, it was at a pace that it had to be as it's building up to something big.

I along with a friend where thinking this as well and we got the impression that Daryll was not keen on Rick taking the job as the cop.
However, as Rick said, if need be they will take the place so Rick obviously is suspicious about the people there.

I've never read the books but I really like his character, I am not fussed about most characters being killed off but the way Daryll, Carol, Rick and his son have been developed, it would be a shame to lose them from the show.

Another question begs is who has taken Ricks gun and was the walker buried there planted there for a reason?

Without giving anything away, has the storyline closely followed the graphic novels?

I could post the you tube link which shows the scene in gruesome comic format but unfortunately it says 'X killed by X' in the title which would be visible to anybody not wanting to know.

That CGI possom (or whatever it was) was terrible at the beginning. Just had another chuckle at it when watching it again.

Fastest case of rigamortis ever seen.
Hope they don't kill off Carol,Daryl,Rick,Michonne or Glen any of the others fair game.

I think Enid took it and also, Carl has seen how to get out without going through the main gate so they all have an exit just in case...

Enjoyed that last night :D

**Warning: Spoiler further down in case you havent seen last nights episode yet**

See ya later Noah!!

I liked how Rick's team sprung into action and took control of situations. I always watch episodes several times so I don't miss anything :)

Best episode of the series by far IMHO. Plenty to discuss.

SCROLL DOWN FOR POSSIBLE SPOILERS....

Gabriel: Dead man walking. Lost the plot and I think he's trying to get Rick and co out of the picture. I think Maggie will be torn over whether she tells Rick as we all know what will happen if she does.
Carol: Did her best not to be become attached to the boy, but the bully boy drunk dad puts pay to that. Another dead man.
Morgan: Hurry and turn up already.
Eugene: Finally grew a pair. Nice work from mullet man.

I'm intrigued as to who gets it in the season finalé. Norman Reedus says it's going to be a sad one. I still think it will be either Glenn or Carol....either way, it better not be Daryl. Daryl can't die. Ever.

Also wondering about the walker with the W carved into it's head. Is this the Wolf group? (Survivors?) or could it be the Whisperers making an appearance?

I also think, especially after Gabriel's rant, that Dana will turn on Rick and co when she finds out her son has died. Shame about Noah too, he was beginning to grow on me.

One of the things I love about WD is that people chat about it - different theories etc. Also Talking Dead is good afterwards.

As an oldie I am enjoying We're Alive a podcast that I found which is like an old fashioned radio serial and is free to download. My problem with it (WA) is that I am always wanting "just one more" and spend half the night listening to it.

I think it will be the mum beating the dad.

The walkers with the w - I think these point to the introduction of Negan - same with all the walkers they found mutilated a couple of episodes ago.

I reckon that's why the boy smashed her owl sculpture.

It was a good episode. I'm watching again tonight. Noah had started to grow on me too :(

Not many episodes left in the series now.

I watched it again and found the scenes where Noah and the other guy got killed a little too much. I'm not squeamish at all but they were almost comedic.

Noah never really grew on me until he started talking to the guy about architecture.

I would echo the comments about Daryl. He has really grown on me.

I can't see how the series will end, but I hope it's not via another shootout.

Cheers.

I've just watched episode 15 on XBMC. Best episode of the season so far.

Season finale next week. :(

Wow - just watched Talking Dead - next weeks is 90 mins and Carol!!!! Can't wait.
