Yes
Not mine, but I sure wish it was ...

Linky ...

What kind of DOF would this baby yield, one asks oneself :naughty:? What could it do at ISO 6,400 on a D700 in a dimly-lit room, come to that!? Capture a housefly in motion, I shouldn't wonder :D.

[/LENS_LUST] *sigh* :'(

It's a lot of money for not a lot of lens, however you look at it

But just dream for a second... you were dead set on buying a nifty fifty... and then someone handed you a few million quid...

£7200 on a 50mm lens? F0.95.... Crazy!

Not sure I would pay nearly 6 times the price of a zeiss 50mm f1.4 planar, for 1/3 of a stop more light and the lens coating. Not doing so means I could buy another 3 zeiss lenses, I know what I would do.

If i had millions yes i would just for the sheer fact i could have a play and not care about the cost :D

You can put a 50mm f1.2 on a Nikon for less too ;)

Saying that I hardly ever use mine as it's not exactly the sharpest lens they ever made

I have owned or used the Carl Zeiss Contax 50/1.4, the AF-Nikkor 50/1.4, the Canon EF 50/1.4, the Leica R 50/1.4 (the old one with the 55mm filter thread), a Yashica 50/1.4, the Leica M 50/1.4, and the Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.5. For all-around image quality in real pictures, the Pentax 50/1.4 is my favorite of them all. The FA 50/1.7 is a very good lens. But the Pentax FA 50/1.4 is a great lens. - Mike Johnston
