A question for you all?

Your six numbers come up or money is no object, you have all the gear and time you need what would your ultimate photo shoot be and where?

I'll kick things of with a couple of days at the Kennedy space center including taking in a Shuttle launch before it's retired for good.

What's yours?

N.

My hillwalking gets me to some of my favourite places in Scotland but I tend to just take the compact so having somebody lug everything and the kitchen sink for me on a traverse of the Cuillin ridge would be nice.

Elsewhere - Machu Picchu would be a great place to photograph.

I would like to do a long term art project recreating the world from the point of view of Dionysus, cavorting with hundreds of scantily/un-clad nymphs catering to his (my) every whim.

In order to allow me really to get under Dionysus's skin, the project would be set up as an installation on a semi-permanent basis. No one else is invited. Because it would be a work of pure conceptual art, the pictures would never actually be published, they would be held only in my personal collection.

I think that's about it, except that the whole thing would take place in a Raymond Blanc restaurant specially created for the purpose, to give the level of decadent opulence necessary to get really good pictures.

It's got to be whale sharks in the Maldives or Great Whites in south Africa.

One of the guys at work got to go for a week and spend time with a company making HD slow motion cameras, the ones that shoot at 8000 frames per sec, whilst they set up and shot a shuttle launch from several locations.

Great footage.

Mine would have to be a few train rides around the works kicking off with India

I'd buy a time machine and go back and record the creation of the world and the history and evolution of life on the planet.

I'd love to be able to travel the whole world! So many places to go and things to do.

The Rockies, Canadian Lakes, Tibet, China, India, New Zealand.

The whole of Scandanavia, (Love to do a shoot in the Ice Hotel) The Northern Lights

Russia, New York, Florence, Venice, Croatia.....................................

(I think you get the gist)

Just give me a couple of Hassy's and let me loose! :)

Great thread topic! :thumbs:

Apart from the usual travel or space shots I have some specific ones:

Shoot from the tail ramp of a Hercules or Chinook when low flying - preferably with the shadow of the aircraft behind me and in shot;
2012 Olympic press accreditation (working on this at the moment);
To have someone take a shot of me doing a tandem skydive - I think I'm going to do one for my 50th next year. :D

I'm with Mr Bizzare - a decent underwater housing and whale sharks and mantas in the Maldives, and a trip to S. Africa for Great Whites.

A shoot with some pro snowboarders in Val d'isere and then a blat down the hill (without my gear) to sample some Jagermeister :)

Seychelles for me, probably. Possibly a family legend but my Great Grandfather is reputed to have been Governor there for a while and I would like to find out more, as well as taking a few photos while I'm there. Pretty sure Mrs Nod would like the beaches too!

Not entirely sure... some stunning models, couple of choppers, hummers and sports cars, big explosions, probably somewhere in iceland or new zealand...? wouldn't say no...

or do a Joey L and b****r off to random parts of the world, with an assistant to carry a heavy profoto pack? :D

Oh and anywhere anything to do with the amazing snow covered mountains somewhere between canada and iceland that I saw when flying back from canadia :love:

North shore of Maui for the Aloha Classic windsurfing comp. Prefereably with access to a helicopter :thumbs:
