The truth about Shergar?

I've just read this report by the Daily Telegraph's Chief Reporter about the kidnapping of Shergar in the eighties. For those of you that are not aware Shergar was champion racehorse who 'disappeared' and it now appears that he was kidnapped and held to ransom by the Provos (IRA) before being machine-gunned to death.
