As there are well over 100 possibly nearer 200 themes and only 52 weeks in the year (minus the snappers choice)
You'd be hard pushed to get them all ;)

Sometimes an "archived" image is necessary for sanity, people just usually declare it.

Better to be safe than sorry @Dave70D although it is a sad sign of the times that you have to safeguard your stuff away from home.

Very true, it is a sad state of affairs here at the moment plus I have a personal Hatred of scum like them. If I did actually catch any of them in our flat I will be very angry but MY WAY then phone the police.

I thought Brighton was such a gentile place, must be the sign of the times. Every where is getting worse, most possibly due to Drugs and associated problems. I feel for you Dave, the last couple of years (and maybe longer) have not been kind to you.

They are into their drugs which is not great, but we will win and get them kicked out. It`s just a pain having all my lenses and cameras at Mums but I know they are safe, hence why a lot of my 52 shots now will be with the X-E3 + XF18mm as that`s the only set up I have here with me that now comes out where ever I go.
 
I signed up for this years 52 as I dont use my camera as much as I should, however as you can see I have not managed to add any pictures in the past 4 weeks, mainly due to being extremely busy with work and other commitments, So it is with great regret that I will forfeit my 52 for this year and hopefully be in a better position next year.

Sorry to see you go Steve, but like you say maybe next year.
 
Apologies for not being around at all recently. My father was taken into hospital for pneumonia and then went and had himself a minor heart attack whilst in triage. He is still in hospital but much better than he was. It's been a very busy week that I never want to experience again! I'll do my best to catch up on photos and comments over the next week or three.

Sorry to hear about your Dads problems and I'm glad he's recovering. Photos come a distant 2nd to loved ones.

If you feel like joining in later in the year, feel free. Catch-ups are allowed ;)

looking forward to it but the next 7 weekends are going to be limited photography-wise. 2 news lenses to see if I can incorporate in to things

Look forward to seeing the outcome. I wonder what the theme will be, I guess it might be Snappers Choice :cobra:
 
Great to see you all here, looking forward (tentatively maybe) to the next challenge. How strict are the time periods for submitting images, can you catchup (within reason) if necessary?

Like Murder, there are no statutes of limitations :D
So yes catch up as and when.

Although Tim @LC2 will stick you in the norty corner after 6 weeks behind,
But of course you can climb out of there :)

Generally its to take an image of something you are interested in
However as there are "no rules" regarding Snappers choice you please yourself (y)
 
I'm going to have to pick something I can do a silhouette on...………………...
 
As most of you would have spotted by now,
This week is Snappers Choice
The old hands know the score, but for the new comers,
Its exactly that.
Take a picture of what ever you like with a brief resume' as to why.
Or Maybe re-take something you weren't happy with?
Or Use the time to catch up?
Or have a week off.
As the Snapper, its your choice.

Its also a great chance to slot in the current technique ( silhouette ) if you haven't all ready.

Think it would be a case of getting Silly-wet today as it` chucking it down :D
 
Still got last weeks to sort and snappers choice helps as I only need to really think about week 4

As Dom Say's the next technique will be pulled the 1st Thursday in March (y)
 
are phone camera photos allowed? Am at a gig on Saturday and (depending on where we end up standing) may use one of them for my entry
