I don't know if anyone on here participates in any casual video gaming, but I do. Over on AVForums there are dedicated threads to the various gaming platforms, but seeing as they are an audio/visual forum and we're not, best for us to just stick to one thread! If there are any TP members out there that do like the occasional spot of online gaming, I can be found on both Xbox Live and Steam under the alias supereddzz - so feel free to send a friend request. :)

I started a GTA V thread in the technology forum, wonder if this thread might better in there?

PS3 here, want to get Last of Us but not prepared to pay £30 and its not dropping much yet.

And while PS4 games are £49 they can get stuffed as well.

At the moment BF4 and World of Tanks, but not played much WOT due to photoshop... and BF4 ;)

Steam is - Raptor [TeM]
Origin is - Raptor_D6
WOT is - Raptor19

Xbox 360 & PS3. Just bought Gears of War Judgement & looking forward to having a blast tonight. I played Last of us, when I had a free trial with boomerang, have to say I was a little disappointed looked good but had a very unsatisfactory ending.

I only picked up Gears of War 3 for the first time the other day! It's fun so far, though I'm a little out of practice... Microsoft Studios were doing a deal on the marketplace to get all of the DLC for a fiver, so I picked that up as well! Plenty of good deals going on the Xbox Live dashboard these days.

PS3 - I've played GTA V Online a lot
PC - Currently playing BF4 anf also have a couple of Eve Online accounts active.

Yea I game a bit.

Xbox360 me big fan of halo and gears
Also into rpg like Skyrim , recently replayed final fantasy 7 still my favourite ever game
I don't play as often as I would like tho photo editing takes up a lot of my time:):)

World of Tanks is my gaming choice, free to play on PC

Look for me on World of Tanks, Steam or Xbox Live as Dale_tem :)

I used to play Everquest, back in the days when the raid zones had to be keyed / flagged and were not opened by level. Trouble is, being in a bleeding edge raid guild with mandatory attendance percentages is like having a second full time job. One can only take it for so long.

Determined never to get involved in another MMORPG and for the last seven years have succeeded. Just checked and my magelo account is still there, my characters were last updated in February 2007 (except one that had an update six months later, for some reason).

I'm on Xbox 360 live as THE B4NDIT 79
Currently playing Forza 4 soon to be followed by some GTA 5 too.

Feel free to add!

GoW 3 is a great game I've played it through a few times. Have you played the other two would definitely recommend them if you hav'nt. I often have a gears session where I play all three back to back. Yeah I know sad init. What makes it worse is I'm 56

There's someone selling last of us still sealed on avforums for £19.50

Steve

Saw PS3 Bioshock infinity for £17.99 in sainsburys yesterday and almost bought it.

I'm 48 and been 'casually' gaming since the Binatone TV pong game came out.

Gave up with PC gaming when I won an Xbox about 5 years ago, although I still have some of the old classics, I can't be botherd upgrading just to play the latest. I've got a Wii and a PS2 and occasionally have a dabble with those too.

I only get about 5 hours a week to play so it takes me a while to get through games, I'm currently ticking off the stunt jumps in GTA5 while Michael wears his Epsilon robes for 10 days. I'll go back to interrupted-mid-game Skyrim when I've finished GTA.

You wait til you do the "Under the bridge" and "Knife flights" challenges. Right old pain. Going back to the airport every time you crash or reloading a save every time, talk about a drag.

The Last Of Us and Bioshock Infinite are the pinnacles of video game development thus far imo, both really excellent.

Mostly playing Titanfall at the moment

Loved Bioshock Infinite. At the moment I'm addicted to Skyrim as I never really jumped on board with everyone else when it came out - now I can't stop playing! Pinnacle games for me have to be the Mass Effect series. I've never felt so immersed in a video game narrative from start to finish.

You have a pm

Is it possible to jump into these at Mass Effect 2 or 3 or do you miss out? Ive avoided them for that reason along with metal gear solid because I never tried the earlier series.

i started playing BS1 a few months ago. for some reason it freaked me out nearly as much as the old resident evil games
Bioshock 1 is a brilliant game. Personally I don't think any of the sequels matched it. The atmosphere is superb

Just play all three. You can get away with playing just 2 and 3, but I think you will feel as if you've missed out by doing it that way. Key characters and narrative elements pop from the first game in both 2 and 3.

You really need to play all three because there a progressive story and you build your character traits over the three games. It's not essential but I would very much advise it

Just thought if your on a PS3 I don't think the first one was releases for the PS3

Also (I've just remembered) that decisions you make in both 1 and 2 effect the outcome of certain narrative developments in 2 and 3 respectively. So actually, I'd say that it's essential that you play all three! The story really gets going in 2 and by the time you get to 3 you'll wonder why it's taken you so long to pick up the series!

Shepard is one of my favourite video game characters along with Marcus and The Chief

£68?!?!? FTFAL!o_O

ME 3 £8.99
ME 2 £12.50

or all 3 for £68. I know where Im leaning....
The trilogy is on ebay for £38 and I thought it could be bought as a stand alone but I can't find it with a quick google search

Xbox One, Titanfall, Powerstar Golf, Killer Instinct, Fifa 14, Forza 5 and Peggle 2

Xbox Original, massively modded out running Coin Ops 6 and various other emulators, probably my fave machine ever.

Dreamcast, Sports Jam is the main reason for keeping this machine hooked up, you will not find a better arcade sports game.

Xbox 360 for me. The amount I play games I can't justify buying a new gen console. I polay all sorts of games. Mostly forza 4 for some tandem drifting or GTA online for a good rampage lol. I was thinking of buying BF4 as I loved all the previous ones, but haven't got round to it yet.

Feel free to add me, gamertag is Eninut.

I tend to play obscure games as well as the popular ones, i'm currently playing DayZ standalone, plus S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
to name just 2.

Both are post apocalyptic survival games and well worth looking up as they are excellent value for money.
