how rude of me, I really did look at these logos and I must say that I really like the green version the best although for my girlish tastes they all look boyish....maybe I should start a female orientated photography site lol
 
I think your cut out postcard text is great nilagin...I might have a go at that too.

They were all from photos I've taken and on my computer. The software I used came with my old scanner. Never had the chance to use it before.:)

I thought about something like that myself, only couldn't find the tool or remember the method.

Works well though I think.

I may see if I can feminise my version, just to see what you think Marianne...out of interest like….cos I get the distinct feeling where just chatting amongst ourselves now.

err...haven't got a clue how to do that though...Ah, a cup of lady grey might help get my mind in focus. :D
 
my favourite brew! honest! in a china belleek cup and saucer that my Mum gave me, quite well brewed with a bit of skimmed milk...
 
as has been said before, I'd recommend whatever we pick doesn't contain any actual images, and only two or 3 colours, so then we can print it :D

(as in Tshirts, straps, vests etc)

Nilagin and Forbidden Biker, thanks for your efforts guys, nice!

the logo we have now is ideal for printing and embroidery etc, which was in the back of my mind when going for simplicity(and some other forums logos look like everyones put something in it and they really dont scan well)

I really like mariannes, its a cracking effort for sure, but i think the simplicity of the current logo makes it more useable
 
I like the RGB reference in mfwild13's version.

I'm enjoying doing the small abreviated logo versions like the lens above. I made this one a bit bigger to see more detail, allthough it can easily be reduced in size.

I suppose something like this could be used alongside the existing logo's text for the site and then just use the text for product printing, but hey, what do I know :shrug: :D

Not showing off, to be honest I just take bit's of info here and there off the web and combine them all, then start pushing button to see if it does anything good, so I can hardly take all the credit :suspect: :D

To be honest, the forums have give me a lot, so if I can contribute even a little then I feel better...
 
I was only joking, all designs are copied and adapted from ideas seen elswhere, your designs are yours!

Yeah, it was about 2 days ago when they decided they liked the existing logo best and don't really want to change it now :lol:

I'm just keeping going to fulfil my own personal quest to eat up bandwidth :amstupid:
 
We're still open to pursuasion :)
Even slight adjustments to the current logo.

Even if we don't end up changing the logo, this is a perfect time to dust off that editing package and start to learn some of its features. I for one love learning something new :)

Its a personal thing but I'm not a fan of all lowercase writing and the speech bubble being offset bugs me (it didn't until you asked us to redesign it LOL) and "mauve" :cuckoo:
