During my annual trek up to the loft to dig out the Christmas Deks, I came across a 'Sun' newspaper from nearly 30 years ago.

So I thought I'd share some of the edited highlights with you.

Here it is in it's thought provoking glory- price 7p

For those that are easily offended, I've provided a festive cover up (tastefully done methinks)

A brand new Chrysler Horizon to fulfill all your motoring needs, It's main selling point was that it 'has four big doors'-phew.... I can't wait.

Thanks all, pleased you enjoyed the bits of highlights, I've put the paper back in the loft, and will dig it out and do another post in 30 years time :)

BTW, I posted the same post on another forum (Inspiring photography), and it was censored (no- not the 70's tashes, but the loverly Lorraine)

It's pleasing that this forum is more mature, reasonable and the boundaries are sensible.
 
ah the ol whew (thats how theyve spelt it ) what a scorcher line .mind you im not surprised with those candles !

Labour were still in power (1978), the Iron Lady didn't start strutting her stuff till '79 :)

Wow! What a fantastic time capsule. I would have been just starting at the 'Big School'.

But who could forget those halcyon days when women had real breasts and didn't have half of their a**e injected into their lips. :woot:
