The sun is shining, the girls are wearing short skirts....

Some of the specimens you see thudding around the town centres are quite frightening. It always amazes me that you can buy leggings in that size in the first place...The fat blokes in shorts aren't any better either!
 
Why shouldn't they? Be proud and get those pins out! Don't listen to the shallow men!!

No you're right there, they look ridiculous.

The funniest ones are the girls that wear luminous skirts and tops esp around twilight, they can be seen a mile off, more than enough time for me to hit the brakes.

If everyone dressed like that, the world would be a safer place :lol:

Nope it's like all these flourescent safety jackets, get too many of them and you stop noticing them

Oh and for the record, my legs are best kept hidden :D

It's something to do with the inverse square law!...... As the arse grows bigger and the thighs get fatter the skirt will ride up to account for the disproportionate amount of fat in reference to the hip size. This can easily be seen as about 25% higher than would be considered appropriate This effect can be easily measured in supermarket shopping aisles :)

As the shopping aisle narrows to display more shelves selling pies the size of ladies seen to be shopping in these sections expand to fill the space available. Interestingly these ladies also believe their shopping trolley gets smaller :cuckoo: to account for this lack of space and also to make their pies look smaller. This has the effect of more pies being placed into the shrinking trolley.

Sadly, this is a serious issue for skirt manufacturers who have been trying to develop a fabric that is capable of expanding up to 25 times its size as the volume beneath increases with rate of pie sales.... This is known as the adverse of the inverse pie rule and is seen by many as the death knell of fashionable and attractive ladies for the next millenia.
 
Because the mirrors in clothes shops are slightly convex and make them look slimmer than they really are. Also, their friends are too diplomatic to tell them how dreadful they look!!
 
Personally, slightly larger ladies are more attractive than really skinny ladies BUT it's all about dressing appropriately for your size/shape.

I used to work with a woman that was a good size 16/18 and she always looked lovely, wearing long, loose fitting skirts/dresses and tops. There was another woman who was a size 14 but tried to squeeeeeeeze herself into size 10/12 clothes and she looked hideous!!!

I was at a family BBQ on Sunday, it got a little hot so I took my shirt off, admittedly I'm carrying a few extra lb at the moment but at just over 15st and around 6ft tall I'm not exactly a rolly poley but my brother's neice, who's 17 and had her gut hanging out between her shorts (that were cutting into her thighs) and her top had the cheek to take the P out of my moobs (which are actually fairly musclely).

I really wanted to ask her if she'd seen her reflection lately but thought I'd best not ;) :lol:
