For no other reason than to share my story into film, so far...
Ok, so I asked a bunch of questions and read a load of threads and finally took the plunge and bought a Mamiya RB67, I needed a new challenge away from digital. Then I bought a polaroid back for it, took a few pictures and wasn't overly impressed. Then I thought I have the instant film I may as well get a cheapo Polaroid camera to use it with. So I got one where you had to guess the focal distance, resulting in a pile of expensive out of focus shots. Not one for giving up I went out and bought a Polaroid land camera, converted the battery and finally got a few shots I was happy with. At this point I still haven't put any film through the Mamiya. I did however decide the Mamiya was a bit big for lugging around so I bought a Yashica mat. I finally got hold of it only for it to stink of fag smoke and a few of the buttons not to work properly. The Yashica was duly packed off for a service. A few weeks later I get it back and proceeded to chuck a few films through it to test. These were then sent for developing and today I finally have the negatives in my hand. I'm whizzing them through my scanner as we speak. So far I'm quite happy.
