Just feeling a little brassed off regarding comments on my post for connected, possibly not a good idea to read and reply after a couple of beers and a couple of bottles of good red, time to retire to the pit methinks

I've just been reading through, it all looks OK to me,
It's your challenge, you post what you want, / think what fits the theme.
Tim wasn't being unkind with his PABD. He was just saying that we've all done it at some point.
You should have seen the way I twisted themes, to shoe horn something in.
In fact it became a bit of a challenge in itself :D

Hey Gary. I'm guessing your comment refers to me?
Sorry if I've offended, it wasn't meant to be unkind. I was just pondering if it was a theme that didn't inspire you and hence the shot was one of those "Well, let's get that out of the way" ones. I know I've posted plenty of those in the past, and we've tended to refer to them as PABD shots (I certainly label mine that way!)
 
Hi Gary, I clicked Like on your photo (and I mean it). That was when you first posted it. I thought it was an effective take on the theme. I should have posted those words, but failed to do so.

I have, on several occasions, submitted a photo simply to tick off the theme - in fact the latest two of mine are pretty much in that category. "Publish and be Damned" is, perhaps, a harsh summary of the situation, but I have been known to mutter it to myself when pressing Post Reply.

As I have said before, this is a marathon not a sprint. I hope to return to more photographically interesting work in the near future. In the meantime, I shall try to continue to just submit something to tick off the theme.

I hope you will stick with us.

The idea of the tech is that at least one image would be a composite, not an image of something composite.
The theme is distant, NOT composite. I sometimes wonder why I bother :(
