The Royal Marsden are using another of my photos

As some of you may know, my youngest boy Christian had a rough ride with cancer a couple of years back. He's been in remission for two years now and is doing well. More details here if you're interested.

His treatment coincided with me deciding to improve on my photography and this site was a great help. This is the second photo that the Royal Marsden have decided to use in one of their campaigns.

Looking at it now, I reckon it could do with a bit more sharpening, I'll have to do that before sending it over!

Firstly - Fantastic to hear the your son is doing well, may it continue for the rest of a long and enjoyable life.

And secondly - fantastic that a shot which is obviously quite meaningful/special to you is being aknowleged and loved by others.

dude i am a staff nurse in A&E and without a doubt that picture is why i do my job. kids are so brave how many sick adults would have that much life and joyfull emotion just in their eyes let alone their smile and facial expression he obviously loves who ever is behind the camera very much.

we've never met but I reckon that's one of the best pics I've seen on here simply because it's so blooming emotional.

Lovely image, agree it needs a slight sharpening, and possibly clone (or crop) the small yellow squiggly thing bottom right?

Thanks for all the comments guys. Les I hadn't spotted that yellow squiggly thing, it's the pattern on the duvet, I'll get rid of it.

They sent me a PDF with the proposed layout and had actually cropped the top of the image, chopping his head off! I explained that as a keen photographer, it made me flinch to see it and they are leaving it as the original.
