As I couldn't work out how to change the title in the original thread I'll put a few images in here in case anyone was interested.

All taken on a Nikon FG with Nikon 24mm lens on Fuji Acros 100. Devved in Ilford Ilfotech LC29.

The 3rd one was through a very mucky train window so its not very good.

Cheers and thanks for all the help and encouragement.

Andy

very fine for a first go indeed.

Cheers Paul, I've only scanned in 10 so far as the lad needs the computer to revise his A levels. I'll finish the rest off later.

Nice one Andy. I'll bet you're walking just a little bit taller now.
Well done. Onward...

you got to be pleased with them Andy ,,well done mate ,they've come out really well ,,,,,,,now ,about some proper printing ,,,,,,,,

Thanks Trev, it was quite an emotional thing when I saw that there were actually images on the film.

Special thanks to you Andy lad, I looked at your vid a couple of times beforehand and it was a big help......apart from the groin close ups....:D

Andy, excellent results from your first step into home developing. You have joined a very special Brotherhood (and Sisterhood), there is nothing like that moment when you open the real and see your images, it never ceases to thrill me! Oh, and a great set of images too. The Nikkor 24mm is one of my favourite lenses and your shots remind me why!

Sunny Silverdale makes me smile as there is a place in Staffs with the same name. Sunny it isn't!

They look pretty good for a first development.

How much swearing was involved? :D

Oh I know Silverdale Suz.....lovely spot

FC, not much swearing tbh, I was concentrating much too hard on not messing up to think about anything else.:D

Got a roll of 120 to do next, probably after tea. I'm mad for it, I am.:D

I hope you practised with a roll of 120 andy, it's whole different kettle of eels.

Nope, just going straight in at the deep end...I am unstoppable.....

My problem was I didn't revise at all......

Great results Andy, very impressive even more as it's your first go. Keep it up lad

Yes I relied on a natural internal knowledge, sadly I didn't have such a thing.....

Right, second film hanging up, all looks good. 12 lovely squares of fomapan.

There's gonna be no stopping you now..

Good job Andy, just remember there's nothing quite like ****ing up your first roll!

EDIT: Also, try loading 120 on some wet reels. :p

The 120's look very good so far, they are even in focus...

If you can get Fomapan on a 120 reel on your first development, you must have a natural talent for it!

Simples....

Nice work Andy, a lot better than my first attempt!

Cheers Rob, I did have a good teacher though.(y)

You certainly worked it out well. They look very nice. Now you will want to do more and more. At least that is the way it effects me.

I can have 35mm on the reel in seconds but hate putting 120 on. My wife will hear me from another room and ask, are you all right. It almost always goes on easy but I hate messing with the paper.

Thanks Ron, I think it must have been beginners luck with the first roll of 120, it slipped on like an old pair of slippers made slippy by the application of some slippery oil. :D
I'm having an overnighter in Wales and I've already shot 2 more rolls of b& w. Can't wait to get home and start devving.

Good job Andy.

Can I send you my backlog of films? :)

Mmm, well, err, I'm a bit busy doing my nails at the mo.

Great job Andy, excellent results, they look very nice and sharp. (y)

Which method do you use to digitize your negatives?

Good job Andy.

Andy, you should definitely accept this kind offer! You need some film to experiment with loading 120 on to wet spools, doncha?:D
