Yes
Well, we have had a little bad weather recently, but today we ave had hardly any power, and more than a little rain.. This is our road - this morning we had sun and warmth. Come 11.00, it got colder, darker and we lost power - it has been on at odd times during the day, but mainly off. Then for about 90 minutes, it rained - we have had about 6-7 inches in that time, and no power, no phone, no internet and no roads....
Sunny Spain, eh ??

As I type, we have sunshine coming in through the window that is still dripping water into the sitting room downstairs, the hallway is sopping, and we have had power long enough to upload some pictures..
Ah, the rain in Spain....

Behave man!!!

Do you honestly expect us to feel sorry for you? .... I would still give my right nut to be able to move out there and live my life ... :D

Good to see in spite of it all you did not lose a photographic opportunity - or are you getting ready for an insurance claim if it keeps going? Hope it dries up - hate to say its lovely and sunny here in France! Sorry!

Well, at times I almost would take your right nut to swap....('cept i have a right nut - its the left one I am looking for..)
It is tough out here - If I had retired out here, it might be different, but as it is, I have spent most of the last few years working 60 hours a week in the UK, the traveling home to repair what has gone wrong, be with the kids and wife, and then try to recover to go back to the UK in time for the next week - now, as my ankle is giving up on me, it is up to Kate to do the same, so we are hardly like a married couple most of the time..

franhill - there are times when I hate the French - even the people who live there who are not French..
Especially when we are drowning, and you are sunning yourselves....

I have friends in Benissa, Javea, & Valencia, they tell me about the power going down constantly.
One of my mates told me the roads were flooding like this the other day, also mentioned the huge hailstones!
Not really what I expect to hear from Spain in May ... Old Blighty yes... but Spain!

InaGlo - why do so many of your friends live so far away from you ??
Last august we had a hailstorm, with hail the size of small golfballs - cars were getting covered in dents, windscreens broken - not what you expect in august either..!

Well we've just got back from 'sunny' Mallorca where there was torrential rain yesterday that flooded some cars in the streets near Palma - and this was our holiday from 'sunny Spain' so I'm glad I didn't miss anything steveinspain!!!! And if franhill has been bragging about the weather in France i'll sort her out!

At least it's warmer here....
