Ok, I will put my hand up, there is nothing like a decent pair of shoes, even as bloke.

For me it's good old brogues made by Grensons, Churches or at a push loakes. My Churches are nearly 20 years old and my grensons are 25 years old, they are probably the best £150 and £200 I have spent on shoes.

If there's one thing that can cheer a woman up its shoes, well shoes and handbags, preferably expensive ones.

My shoe/bag list consists of Mack work boots - 1 pair, non-designer trainers - 1 pair, wedding funeral shoes - 1 pair, old 80's square toe cowboy boots (with Cuban heel which I cant throw away or I will be old) - 1 pair, bright green Cloggies gardening 'clogs?' (cos I am old) - 1 pair, and my most expensive ever shoes, Berghaus hiking boots - agian 1 pair.
So thats 7 sets of footware, oh I forgot my new birthday slippers, 8.
More shoes than I really need.

So I am gonna live life on the edge and have a smoke in the garden in my new slippers and drink beer on a school night.

b****r forgot the bags, I got 2 of them both full of camera gear....

Whoever it is , word to the wise

When taking a lady from essex out for dinner its always important that one doesnt appear to be cheap

Therefore you should always give her the option to supersize her meal

Blimey must be something in the water. Split up with the wife a couple of months ago. Put up with a fair bit of crap over the last couple of years so was for the best. Is odd being on my own after 7 years but im sure I will get there in the end!
 
As crap as it it to have 'joined' this thread, I now know where to go if I need shoe advice. Haha. My singular pair of smart shoes are getting a little tatty!
