The Official Rugby World Cup 2007 Thread

Could av been worse russdaz, could of been playing the french :p

:lol::lol::lol:
We were out in HK for the sevens a few years ago and dressed in French shirts one night for a laugh, couldn't even get in some of the bars :whistling::tumbleweed:

Shameful performance :( We were never in the match from the first whistle :( Robinson was the only player who showed any imagination, such a shame to see him go off injured

Ah well.
At least the football team know how to get more than ZERO !

Fingers crossed for you tomorrow, the wallabies won't be a push over ;)
I may be gloating over the score (or lack of) today, but I am an honest man and I totally agree with you, that I might be eating humble pie tomorrow afternoon.

A proud, passionate and patriotic Welshman I may very well be, but I don't think Wales are going to turn over the wallabies eh!

Where's your confidence man ! :)

I'll be at the game and wearing just about every single item of lucky clothing I can find.

I do believe The Ozzies are beginning to talk themselves into a pressure situation. The papers this week have all been about the unfair advantage playing at Cardiff gives, how much they have focused on this game, and how much Scott Johnson gives them... which is why I think were in with a shout ...

Call it blind Welsh Optimism - But I've always been the same !

Currently watching a rerun of the 05 GS against England!

Oh wow - oh to be at the game - you lucky chap that's so cool. I will be in Pembroke this afternoon, but will be watching.:)

Missed the Irish game, i thought Welsh did well dispite the loss, atleast they played with some heart and passion as a team.;

We should have won ! Sloppy tries given away by the Welsh in the first half gifted the Aussies with a lead that was just too far out of reach.
Our first half performance was poor at best....Lacking any real passion or pride..second half allot better. Harsh but fair me thinks. (might have looked different on TV)
South Africa now in the 1/4's - That is where our World Cup will end !

Gutted. But Wales didn't play well and Fiji played a stormer, well done to them as they really wanted it more.

Methinks I should have kept the All Blacks jersey on I had this morning and not replaced it with a Red one...:bonk:

The men that put those red jerseys on today, just didn't turn up - a truly disappointing end to our world-cup! :(

Some of them in my opinion just not worthy of wearing that jersey - and don't get me started on the coach!!

:sulk::annoyed::sulk:

But England did look brilliant! (At times)
Beware Australia!:eek:

I think if we're honest, England are going to get thumped and big time too I suspect, they just aren't good enough!

What is going on with the home nations this time around, none of them have really performed have they?

Matt

We did it! :clap: Who'd have thought a few weeks ago that England would be in the 2007 Rugby World Cup Final? :D
