The official iPhone 4S / 5 thread

My iPhone is being delivered to work tomorrow - cant wait!
 
I must be lucky as I haven't had a problem really with the battery. I did read that a potential problem was caused by the aug time zone function continually checking where in the world you are. Ive turned that setting off but not noticed much difference.
 
Question ..........Is the IP4S that different from IP4 to get excited about !!!!

My battery was shocking for the first few days. After a couple of charges it seems to settle down and now I love it
 
Please tell me I'm not the only one to spend ages messing about with Siri :lol:
 
If you're only going to buy one camera app, make it Photogene2. It's excellent and includes lots of features found in many other individual apps. It's currently £0.69 until 17th November too.

Going from a few hundred/thousand to tens of millions of users in a week is likely to highlight a few bugs. Fixing them quickly is the key and something that Apple tend to do.

If I had had an iPhone 4 I wouldn't have upgraded but would have waited for the 5. Siri is basically a toy and virtually useless outside of the USA. The camera is good though.
 
I actually find Siri quite useful for composing and sending messages when I'd prefer not to be staring at the screen e.g. when walking.

I agree - found it very accurate even in noisy environments. I can see it as a bit of a novelty though after time
 
I had a 4 and upgraded to a 4S because:

64 gb so can get all my music on the device
Better camera
Faster processor
Because I could

Siri is a gimmick IMO and the cloud stuff is not really doing anything for me either ATM
 
I really like Siri and that was what sold it for me, for instance getting it to read my text messages while I'm in the car is great.
