The Official Fuji X10/X20/X30/XF1/XQ1 Thread

Kev,
It shows as 2.4 stops under in ACR. Do you have any exposure compensation dialled in?

Rhodese.

No EC dialled in.

I have check the fuji FAQ and they have said if I get the error I need to take the camera to where it was purchased from. Have now dropped it off to the local Currys PC World who will send it off to Fuji. They said it would take between 2 weeks and 28 days to get it back.

Hope it comes back quick....

Just a quick one of his big brother who arrived this morning (y)

Hi Joe, These are lovely set of images. I think the shot of the church and the last one are two shots you should be proud of.(y)

Now I could do with a strap ( you're gonna cost me pennies ) as am in constant fear of dropping it....

Was that from Japan too ?

Ah man... I'm not sure... I have the mortgage to pay...

( where from ? )

Lol Joe. I sold my XF1, went to Currys to buy the X20 andcame out with another XF1... epic fail. :D

Although, I'm tempted to get a refurb one from the Fuji site for £300 especially if the PAYPAL12 code still works to get 10% off aswell!

Decisions decisions.

Just replied about that on the settings thread. Sure the jpgs aren't just being hidden by LR?

Not sure if I took one in colour without miniature mode. I was more concerned about being in an inch of mud in a suit and having to clean things before getting back in the car :( But with hindsight, I should've done

David,
The processed raw and jpg look very similar, however I prefer the processed raw for sharpness and colour.

Hmmm...nearly pulled the trigger on one this week but have resisted..

Where's the processed JPEG to compare with the processed RAW ?

Any idea how I check the shutter count on the xf1?

Thank you

Me too! :)

But that is defeating the object of shooting JPEG... I could quite easily process the JPEG the same as the Raw, but then what would the point in that be as i might aswell just shoot RAW. I agree the SOOC JPEG is better than the SOOC RAW but it's not where i want it to be so might aswell just shoot RAW? No?

Just had a sneaky peak the the Mk2...

Mk3 due to be announced soon ( not that I'm reading up about it you understand :arghh: )

Kev , if you've had it from new and have never reset the image file numbering then that should be your shutter count. If not then i don't know.

Thanks. I have reset the camera a few times would this reset the file number.

Still not had reply from fuji re my support call logged on Monday... :(

Really? That's poor. I thought they were pretty good at the whole customer service thing!

Not sure if it would or not?

Thanks.

David,
Re the sharpness of the jpeg have you adjusted the in camera sharpness, say +1.

I’m assuming the XF1 has the same control features as the X10/20.

Rhodese.
