Ditto i want one...........!!

I got it from eBay for something like 6-50
I will have a look when I get home and post a link

So today I put on the 'round the neck' one that came with the camera but I find it shorter than I like and not really getting used to it. Oh what shall I do - and by the way the wrist strap is on as well

Problem solved and without spending more money.

I have a very small Lowepro case with a strap the same width as the Fuji supplied neck strap. So my wife has spliced in an extra piece, from the old Lowepro case strap, each side of the official one so the camera now hangs where I want it.

Now what was next hood, filter, case, 'how to use it' book, LCD protector

My friend you obviously married well. All our good wishes to the memsahib ;)

After the hood, filter, case, book and screen plastic thingy, come spare SD card and batteries, especially batteries!!!

Looking at the beep, boops and bips I came across an accessory I didn't even know existed. I think this would really suit me as I find the default thumb grip a but uncomfortable based on my hand size. Anyone flying with a thumbs up?

I posted about these a page or two back i think !! Couldnt quite justify spending that much on one but took the plunge and bought the Flebay version. Will photograph and review when it arrives in a few weeks!

Ah - another version and a lot cheaper! Well spotted. From the reviews I'm not so sure I'd want to risk that on my X10 though.

According to the X series forum article, the Horusbennu is made of Duralumin which I recall from my days at sKOOL as being the material used in aviation because of it's lightness and strength. That was in the days when Elvis was alive so make of it what you will :D

PS - There's only One Elvis

here is the link to the shutter release button i gothttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320859466006

I have been trying to spot anyone with an X10 in the street but none so far but when the holiday season gets going there will be more with cameras around where I live.

Just thought if all those that contribute to this thread get a red one we can look out for each other? Beats a carnation in the buttonhole

Well here a couple of snaps from my first attempt with my luurrvly new toy

Well done Neil:thumbs:

And good to see there are pics being taken by members and not just talk of cases, soft buttons, etc (I am so guilt of this though) :D

Thank You John, along way to go yet, but loving it so far.

I resisted the urge to talk cases (order one today), screen protector (ordered one today), spare batteries (ordered two today) :geek:

since getting mine the weather round here has been rubbish and if it has been nice then i have been working :bonk:

this thing is great, I'll have a proper look at the manual (sometime :p ) but for now I'm just enjoying it. Crap shots, but nice quality crap shots :D

Hi Dod - nothing crap about your photos! I really like the B&W graphite style macro shot (great DOF) of the pencils. Very quick turnaround from purchase of the X10 to display of a photo!

What a good idea. Thought a Ladybird one would be nice ;)

We'll still keep a lookout for your blue one Rob

We could all be colour coded and issed with a list so we tick members off?

Bit like train spotting

My soft shutter release on my X10 is Gold (coloured not precious metal).

... and some industrial storage silos!? :naughty:

Oooops guess I am silly, maybe senile, or having a senior moment, or two, or three, not quite a pensioner. Anyhows that my excuse/s :$
