The official "FFS, isn't the world cup over yet?" thread

I guess if you have to then you do, i don't ever sleep in and a fairly early riser but that's just a little too early:D

Best time of day, I'm awake already, just not ready for another stressful day at the office :(

Try it, used to walk the dogs this early, amazing what wildlife is about(y)

Just looking at your time stamp is enough to know you're mental.........now and again with a camera yes maybe, otherwise just an extra hour for me:D

I don't dislike football, but international football bores me to tears.

I'd much rather watch 2 second division teams duke it out in the pouring rain to avoid relegation, that at least has some passion to it.

As opposed to a field full of egocentric prima donnas who go down quicker than a cheap whore's drawers?

I thought that was general knowledge Trace before anyone else says it o_O

Cheap whores don't wear drawers!!! (So I'm told.)

Ah, the old "or so I'm told" line :sneaky: :ROFLMAO:
There should be a TP auto quote filter when someone types the ' so i'm told' to 'i know from experience':D

Well, it was an old whore who told me - not sure of her pricing structure, it was her who was the customer!!! (I used to work in a rather odd bar in Glasgow [now flattened to make way for something else] whose customers included [as they put it] poofs, pimps and prozzies.)

Back ON topic! There has been a TV up at the end of the bar here for many years but this visit it's notable by its absence. All of a sudden, when the landlady's husband is asked whether the TV will be going up for the world cup, his comprehension of English vanishes! (NOT me who asked I hasten to add.) Anyone know how to feed pictures from a laptop into an aerial down lead? (The only lead goes down right beside our balcony.)

Look at it this way, when all the numpties are at home watching wall to wall football, everywhere will be quiet and you'll be able to get about without people getting in the way all the time.

But the matches are all evening matches (from 5pm I think) so the world is going to be full of brat-filled families during the day, all led by grovelling dads trying to earn brownie points :(

At least the night venues should be empty ;)

It's really good, isn't it? Every advert in every commercial break is desperately bigging-up the F******* W**** C**! Be it for beer or Wonga borrowing or big televisions! Or Brazilian tourism, which remains about the last country in the world I want to support or visit!

And then, after the adverts, I can go back to watching qualifying for this weekend's Le Mans 24 Hours race or some good Test Match cricket between New Zealand and the West Indies

I do enjoy watching England play but I'm not that bothered about the rest of it. I hope the fans behave themselves. I really hate all the mind numbingly tedious chanting "ENG-GER-LAND, ENG-GER-LAND, ENG-GER-LAND....."

Well I'm looking forward to getting out and about and maybe even getting a bit of personal photography done and best of all the supermarkets will be quiet !

And sing..... "Here one goes, here one goes, here one goes. Ooh -agh...."

Only thing I have ever liked about it is the Peperami Fanimal, that always makes me laugh, had one a few years back that I won

Bloody tennis on now as well:mad:
Gives me an excuse to get out though:)

Oh Jeeze I'd forgotton about that!
At least I'm in my "cave" busy editing :)

That's a good idea I think I'll go do the same:)

An old one I know but still applies :D

oh crap, THEY play tomorrow night!! I have a wedding tomorrow and a baptism/wedding in sunday, so hoping the neighbours aren't planning any world cup parties, need sleep. Might have to save litter tray contents as retribution if they are :bat:
