The official "FFS, isn't the world cup over yet?" thread

Would I be really out of order by stating my opinion that if football were banned the world would be a better safer place?

Fill ya boots, quite correct

Know where you're coming from I can't stand it
the thing with the World Cup votes being bought sums it up well corrupt and just about money
but I wouldn't ban it as people obviously enjoy it but I did read the other day that violence towards women in the uk increases by 30% when England lose at football I don't know if that's accurate as I read it on Facebook!!!!!

I think youve put words in my mouth there, T. AND, I think youll find that youve now said the 'F' word twice in your post. Will you now be banned also? :p

Quite possible... i guess it's the corner for us... bring chocolate please!

Whenever football is on horrible rowdy people are on the trains drinking beer, shouting making noise. It's awful. There's senseless violence in streets and homes over football. There is the whole sectarian issue in Glasgow. People getting stabbed and kicked in over a sport, I'm sorry IMHO it's just not on. Of course banning it is impratical, by and large people watch football, enjoy it and don't go around killing people over it. The rowdiness is a public disorder problem, I dread to go on the trains if there is a game on in Glasgow (I use the train to go to and from work) as there is always a group of people drinking beer and making noise on the trains.

He got reported for saying that?? crappy doodles was someone bored?!

Whilst driving through some unknown bit [though possibly outskirts of Sheffield] of Yorkshire over the weekend, I glanced in my rear view mirror to be confronted by a huge white bonnet with a big red cross painted on the scabby paintwork. I can only assume that the owner had just been campaigning for UKIP....

Sayu a newish Mazda 6 saloon yesterday with wing mirror material covers in St Georges cross

So Mr Blatter, what attracted you the the fabulously wealthy Qatar to give the World cup to them?

Actually that's quite a serious point.
I have no idea what its "really like" up there, but "down here" I'm old enough to remember the various "army's" "camps" etc
of the London clubs, running riot (Literally) before during and after matches.
Thankfully it doesn't appear to be anywhere near as bad as it used to be.
