Well, the clouds spoilt it for many of us last night. So what's next?

21 Dec 2010 - the moon goes into total eclipse at 07:40 and will set at 08:12 (as seen from London) whilst totally eclipsed.

15 Jun 2011 - the moon rises at 20:13 (as seen from London) whilst totally eclipsed and will emerge from total eclipse at 21:03

28 Sep 2015 - we'll be able to see the entire total eclipse (weather permitting); the total phase runs from 02:10 to 03:23.

Plus there are various partial lunar eclipses. The next one is on 16 Aug 2008, when the moon will be 80% eclipsed around 21:00. That could make for good photography, and it's only 6 months away!

Thanks for that!

Since the last one I was wondering when I'd get another chance to take some pictures. I should have a decent lens by then too!
