The man did good

I saw it on the news last night, he did well to stop it taking off, it was a bit of a bumpy landing on the grass, he soon got it back on the runway

Yeh funny thing is I just noticed this took place in May of this year :shrug:
 
Posibly the CAA report has just come out so it came to the attention of the news people?
I suppose the pilots gut instinct was to get it down asap but imagine if he had decided to circle round n bring it in. Probably have been a much bigger inquiry about it then. Be a bloody sight more dangerous too! :rules:

That whole piece of 'journalism' is sensationalist at best, the crowd at the time were around half a mile behind the Victor and there is no housing estate at the end of the runway also 150 feet, I was there more like 30.

Also I recognise the photos used, Just hope they have credited the tog. :nono:
 
He's on the BBC news in the East Midlands in the next few minutes.

Wopuld you really expect any less from the Daily Snail? Why let the facts get in the way of a good story?
 
Daily Mail/Snail both leave you witha horrible slimey feeling after handling them.
