Hi Rik

Try joining up here - hardcore aircraft photography site.

Best site to look at specifically for LL photography is Fox2

They are a top bunch of guys (and girls) on there and have helped me a lot since starting the hobby!!

There is awebsite somewhere giving a guide t ohow to get to all the common viewpoints, I'll see if I can find the address. Machnylleth is pretty darn far from RAF valley mind!

Rik, although lots of aircraft from RAF Valley do go through the loop (mainly trainer Hawks), the Mach (Machynlleth!!!) Loop is a few minutes up the road from Machynlleth, where you are staying.

You will probably find all you need to know on Mark Jayne's site, here:
http://www.mjaviation.co.uk/Lowfly.htm

You need decent walking boots as most of the best places require a stiff walk across rough land.

hth.

The MoD even publish the predicted low flying times and locations on their website, but, as an A/C engineer, I wouldnt take them as gospel :bonk:
