Well after 5 weeks I've finally been to Newton Ellis and picked up my Leica II which has had a full service. Turns out it was once a Leica I (1931) then went back for an upgrade to a Leica II (about 1938) someone then resprayed it in chrome (it was originally nickel) and beggared about with the insides so the focus was shot. Anyway its now running like new and in about 3 hours I will have some piccies to post as I shot a quick roll of Agfa £1 Vista and dropped it off at Adsa for devving.
I'm stupidly excited about the results....

This was it before the service but as it looks exactly the same now there's no point i taking another shot.

What an interesting bit of kit! I've never seen one of these before.

Looking forward to viewing some shots from it.

Looks a corker, lovely camera, they do have a unique charm those early Leica's

Very envious of Norfolk!
