i just realized that you should check when you are expect to arrive before you leave, i am now, killing 30mins in a cafe.

Me too, mind you after 20 years of g&t I'd forgotten most of it anyway!
 
I found that by spraying glass with washing liquid and water, favlon or window film application is a doddle
 
Not to click down on the mouse that is hovering over the play button on Windows Media player which is joint up to the big speakers while perents are in bed......................
 
I just figured out bounced flash has nothing to do with top heavy ladies clubbing on an 18-30 hol.
 
That 50mm on a 6x6 really isn't as wide as I'd hoped for.

Being an old f*rt now its harder to take it all in.
ie: Only yesterday I learned how to link my camera directly to my laptop and by pass the card, shooting directly into the laptop. Now that's worth learning.
I have so much to catch up on, but with my manual in one hand and Photoshop creative in the other, I'm up for the challenge, and the info from this site is helping me on the journey.
 
I honestly have no idea what the last thing I learnt was.
 
To reformat my Cards before I use them. I feel such a n00b not doing it before. :/
 
you have to get the metering mode correct for the camera mode you are operating in and the scene you are shooting... Now to work out what the correct modes are :D...
 
make sure your carefull if your trying to take apart an old flash gun, because touching the capacitor with a screwdriver really REALLY REALLY hurts....
 
ipswich is such a great place name, almost as good as stains.

today i learned then when some one in a suit walks into and knocks you over while you are focusing, then walks on like nothing happened, do not use excess profanity when telling him how you feel about his manners, his daughters body, and his mothers house. espicly if there are some fine City Of London Police near by.

It's not as nice as it sounds mate haha.

Thats not such a good idea, but how rude to barge you over like that!
 
When you say format the card...how do you do that? Is it just a matter of deleting everything on the card prior to starting?
See...I'm going to learn something new today...I hope.
 
today i learned to use correct caculation for aperture and flash setting to distance for correct flash exposure. I hate maths but its fun... and it get complicated once you diffuse of walls...

Oh and to be careful try and take a flash apart because if something touches the capacitor its going to hurt. LOTS, and send you to the other side of the room :/

There's a big difference between deleting and formatting. A format is much more thorough and significantly reduces the chances of corrupt files.
Alwasy re-format your card before a shoot. :nono:
You can find the option to format in your camera's menu, failing that check the manual and find where the format option is.:)

I learned that manipulating a photo in CS3 isnt just about IMAGE > AJUSTMENTS > HUE/SAT > Sat to 0, changing the hue and lighness gives it a great effect especialy on portraits, and clicking DESATURATE in the IMAGE dropdown first then changing the rest, plus changing levels give a perfect result.
