Ah well, decided I'd bring you all up to speed on the saga of my life thus far. I think the last time I posted a thread like this I had no car, had left Me g/f, been evicted fo illegaly sub-letting and had just found beautiful new g/f and new place.

Weeeeeeeellllllllllllllll,

It's been an interesting few months since then.

Here's the short version...

The vauxhall astra died (Hoodi will probably breathe a sigh of relief)

I'm working a lot

My g/f is Teatering on the edge of a second breakdown (not joking, is linked to the landlord problem below!)

My D70 is dying (mirror locks up, everything locks up, ERR flashing dangerously on LCD display, not BGLOD failure, something else alas)

I have to move house again at short notice (landlord has gone mental and given us a months notice because we asked for some property back that he'd binned from out of the front garden by mistake! We're gonna move out and then take him to the cleaners over this. He's so far out of order it's not even funny. All very well and good but it's tipped laura over the edge into another breakdown as it was around this time last year her abusive father finally kicked her out after she had him arrested for abusing her mother)

I have been overdoing the old Bolivian marching powder and a few other things recently lol.

On the positive side..........

I've got a new (to Me) car.....E34 BMW 5 series. Mint condition, I'm in Love!

I have a 2 bed cottage to move into for not much more cost than the scuzzy bedsit I'm currently inhabiting!

I've given up the drugs again!

My new camera is on order, and the people I work for have bought it for the business and then sold it to me, so One d200 minus vat is currently on it's way.

I've been taking some of my strongest images yet, eg Rhossilli!

So not all bad really....

PMSL. Everything's on the up and up then? :D

Nice one G, good to see lifes not boring in your neck of the woods

Life is sh*t at times. But it just helps you appreciate the good times however little they decide to turn up!

Lets hope you sail into calmer waters eh?

Bit of a rollercoaster then? Keep your head up, as they say life is for living ;)

Been wondereing where the ****** you've been!
Good to hear that, although you've had a rough few months, things are looking OK.

I'm coming to Bath, soon - and we're gonna do the shooty shooty, mmmkaaaay?
PM me your mobiley number ~ I have one for you but I'm not sure that it's still correct.

Yeah, dropped off the old radar for a bit The number you had is still relevant, I've just recovered my phone from a 'lost' type situation!

Bath is just starting to green up a bit, the cherryblossom is in full flood and so are the luverly young ladies of the town!

Clucking bell  - I'll take my boring existence over yours any day Gandhi - Mind you I'm probably twice your age so all that sort of grief is well behind me! Good to hear things are (sort of) on the up ... Paul ;)

Well steal my lunch and call me hungry!

Nice to be back around, few more members now I see! Will probably lose net access for a lil while when I move but will be back on as soon as poss.

Although work is tres busy at the mo, the formatting of it means I'm often home early and have w/ends free to shoot stuff now. Hooray!

And Paulboy. I'm 33 so should now better really. Bet you aint 66(6)!

And now, just to cap it all off, laura was knocked off her bike this morning, well not so much not knocked off, but pulled out in front of! I wouldn't mind but the woman in the car sat there and told my dazed and injured baby to move her bike out of the road cos she was blocking traffic, refused to help her move it then scribbled down her number on a piece of paper and drove off!

I've spent the day in casualty and laura is very lucky to be alive. She hit the car doing about 30 and has managed to get away with just a very badly bruised leg.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

Wow your lass was lucky! Feel sorry for her but I'm sure you'll give her some TLC ;)
In answer to your last no I'm not 66 (just approaching my half century actually which is a good excuse for a p!ss up if I ever heard one )

Some life you lead! Gandhi you need to report to the cops as anytime a car is involved in an accident with a bike or pedestrian even if noone is injured a police officer is to be called to the scene. At least it is that way in my neck of the woods (I know cuz I did exactly that to some poor man.... I thought I killed him but he was ok). I hope she is well and heals up quick.

Police & Ambulance were called as soon as laura called me to tell me what had happened, she was in shock so didn't even know where she was, let alone what had happened. I was there about 20 minutes later (would've been quicker if i'd walked, bloody bath traffic!)

I'm sure it's a chargeable offence to leave the scene of an accident like that. To cap it all, the womans parting comment was 'I'm going, I'm late for work'

Best of all, she's a nurse at the hospital Laura was taken too.

Oh, and she's a regular customer at the petrol station I work at part time.

Last time I let her off of the odd penny when she puts £10.01's worth of fuel in! lol!

It just can't get any worse can it mate.......do wish you both well..

oops! wish you well!

That sucks mate, hope Laura recovers soon :)

As for the other woman, hope she burns. I hate people like that. ;)

Hey Gandhi m8 ... just caught up on this ...

First off great news things are looking good for you now ... hope they continue to go from good to better all round ... ;)

But saddened to hear of your better half's (?) mishap ... could have been really nasty ...

Hope Laura mends well and quickly ... and then you can think about taking someone else to the cleaners perhaps ...

Good luck to you both anyway m8 ... :D

:p

Hey Spencer - glad to see you're about, alive and well. Sorry to hear of all your disasters but things seems to be turning the corner a bit now anyway? (Mishaps with bikes notwithstanding)

Keep your eye on general sharing if you want to see some Hebrides pics over the next little while - just come back from a fortnight up there and I know that's a part of the country you're fond of!

cheers guys and gals!

I shall look forward to seeing the pics of the hebrides Witch, I've got a couple of weeks booked off at the end of may/beginning of june so am planning a trip up then when the machair should be in full bloom! CAn't wait!

Jammy git! I'd love to see that but we can never make it there at the right time. Having said that, things were looking prety close to flowering when we were there this year.
