The Last Bus has left for Blakey.

I'll be honest, I thought he was long gone!
Great character.

I thought so too TBH, but yes a great character,
I was often reminded of him, when "Sparks" was on top of the pops,
Ron Mael, could have been his twin ;)

RIP

Was watching an on the buses clip the other day on youtube, and could not believe how rude and fruity it actually was. It was amazing you watched this as kids with your parents, and thought this was normal behaviour. I liked Blakey as he was firm and tried to run things properly.

I too thought he had long gone..

It was normal behaviour, it's only this modern pc world that has spoilt all that, people now feel obliged to be offended.
Stephen Lewis always looked like he was near retirement age back in the 60's, it comes as a surprise he was only 88.

Oh hold on, just remembered I loved the 70s. I had a Raleigh Chopper that I chased all the girls on. I was just as bad ;)

Reg Varney was about fifty odd way back then, I think he was supposed to be playing a thirty year old. Come on, he never looked thirty odd did he ?

Yes, he was 52 when it started, 11 years older than Steven Lewis

Anna Karen , Olive. I'm sure I saw her on a recent celebrity pointless edition. I remember her as a schoolgirl in Carry On Camping.

I thought he was long gone too, I used to love on the buses

I'm currently watching mad men set in the 60s

It's amazing how un pc it was, chasing girls round the office then pulling their skirt up to see what colour her knickers were , red, who had red

One line had me laughing

The boss has to pitch to potential new clients that are Jewish

He doesn't want to do it so sighs, how jewish are they

What do you mean

Ok , fiddler on the roof

Cast or audience
