Something a bit different.

I remember going to Old Mother Shipton's Cave as a kid and seeing the petrified woolen mittens and teddy bears and the like. Not quite the same impact as above though

There's always one nit picker... only echoing the title of the piece.

Nonetheless, despite the photographer's intervention these are still very powerful, interesting images

specialman, there's no denying they are great images, but the title is a little misleading until the entire article is read. Anyway, thanks for posting. I'd read/heard about the lake before, but I'd not seen these images.
