The King of Groove's Medical Bulletin.....

All the very best Mate
I will be thinking of you

Thanks Chris, you'll have to make sure the TP crew are still being groovy without the King!

Be thankful that modern camcorders are so small!!!

Best way to avoid wearing a trail in the carpet after Picolax/Fleet/etc is to drink as much water after the solution as you can, then stay on the karzi with a good book! If it's the barium enema rather than a colonoscopy, leave as much of the barium in their bowl as you can - it takes an age to flush it all away and it's best to make it their problem rather than yours.

All the best for it - and don't forget that for 48 hours after the Picolax, you MUST not trust a f@rt...

:lol::lol: Sounds like the voice of experience!

It is - but fortunately not because of misplaced trust! I had been warned about the effectiveness of the scouring solution so was well enthroned whenever the wind started dropping.

All in all, the dread of the coming procedure is far worse than the reality - larger items pass quite painlessly the other way and the sedation means that you're unaware of the well lubricated narrow tube going the wrong way up the one-way-street.

Err thanks Nod!

Hello folks sorry for being a bit late on updating.

Taking the picolax the day before was fun! The GB athletics team would have been proud of how fast I could run to get to the loo!!

Had the procedure done and the preliminary result is they couldn't find any abnomality in the bowel. When I got home I was so hungry Sainsburys had to get in a extra delivery!

Now received a letter giving me an appointment to see the hospital consultant this month. I'm assuming that is just routine and to decide what to do next.

Yup, the call-back is almost certainly just to tell you what the found (or didn't find). OR to tell you they've lost the video and need to do a reshoot!!!

Sounds very promising Clive I'm glad that it went well

If they didn't find any abnormalities Clive they obviously weren't looking in the right place

Glad all went well for you

Thanks Ingrid.

Now if they had looked at my brain!
