The XO was absolutely spot on. It may not be the softy way some people think that things should be done these ways, but at the right time and place (which this is) its the only thing some people understand.
To be honest, I didnt find it that bad at all. Heard and done much worse in my time managing workshop staff.
So long as the seriousness is brought over in whatever way is required and once you/they leave that room, you all get on with the job. No feeling sorry for yourself.
The guy that sent the vid to The Sun should get chucked out. Pathetic.
The media should be praising the XO for how he handled the situation and bringing over how serious a situation this was.
What do they expect, a big group hug and wiping each others ar%*s for gods sake.
If you're paid to do a job, do it right. I expect that of my window cleaner, so we should all get that of these blokes.
