The importance of backups!

equally as important is CHECKING your backups by regularly restoring some files.

ive recounted on here before the story of a company that for years their backup jobs all logged as completed sucessfully, however one day upon coming to restore some mission critical data/systems they discovered the tapes were all blank..
 
Also important is have a back up of your back up for when you accidentally wipe the first back up :nuts:
 
And when you back up lightroom it does not back up the picture files just the thumbnails.
